I've taken to writing bots as a way of coping/denying everything that is going on in the world currently. One of the things I miss about pre-Musk Twitter is the amusing bot culture that he slaughtered when he killed the Twitter API. These are my efforts to bring some of that back. Enjoy!

Something crazy about the US and international copyright enforcement regime is that they consistently criminalize digital archiving when it is done for pro-social reasons, but consistently protect the reuse of archived materials by other parties when it is for commercial reasons

I'm watching "Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus" with some friends in Discord. I was prepared for the music to be powerful. I did not expect the cinematography to be equally moving. This is a beautiful, beautiful film. Highly, highly recommended.

This prototype effort will utilize a national NWS Bluesky account, with posts being publicly visible via the following NWS Bluesky account page: https://bsky.app/profile/nws.noaa.gov . Additional information on the prototype use of Bluesky can be found at the following link: https://nsdesk.servicenowservices.com/api/g_noa/nwspc/res2/d664da9797aa62 148881bb7de053af4f The prototype period will last approximately through January 26, 2026.
