I expected a level of incompetence from the dems over the administration change, but i didn't expect this level of compliance. What the fuck, do your job.

I don’t love having to get up early and deal with a heavy snowfall either but we’ve had such little this year that I’m worried about all of the plants that need a long freeze and all of the snow to help with decomposition of all the leaves and stuff on the top soil. 🫣

Finishing the last book in a series always leaves such an empty feeling that takes a while to shake.

VIOLENT NIGHT with David Harbour is my favorite Christmas movie, and he makes the absolute best Santa Claus.

Kurt Russell is a very, very close second.

I never want to get stung by a wasp, but if I do, I hope very much it's at least this very amazing extra gay disco wasp.
With their brilliant metallic colors and heavily sculptured bodies, cuckoo wasps, also known as jewel wasps or emerald wasps (scientifically known as chrysidids) are some of the most visually striking insects.

Someone on YouTube said this movie was clearly a low budget film but… I disagree so much. Wikipedia says it has a $2.3mil budget which while on the lower side sure, isn’t THAT low for 1984. I’m impressed with the effects.
I didn’t know what to expect from it going into it, but The Company of Wolves surprised me. It had one of the more gruesome and interesting werewolf transformation scenes that I’ve seen in any movie. Loved it.

Stop glamorizing “the grind” and glamorize whatever this is

Honestly the bigger problem here is actually my inability to start projects. What is that called again? It’s an adhd thing?
There’s too many things I want to do in a day and not enough time to do them. I want to paint and work on leveling up that skill, but I also should work on personal coding projects to get a more robust portfolio. But I also just want to play video games, read, or even garden while I can. T_T

When you have a lot of hobbies and interests, it can be hard to keep up with yourself. I tend to go through phases on what is currently The Thing.

Getting back to painting now 👌

Some people who don't understand how things work say stuff like "Hollywood writers are out of ideas, nothing's original, it's all remakes and sequels." Like they think writers just show up to work and write what they want, and that's what gets made? Can you imagine??
