I would love to see some of the manifestos and pitch emails other bookstores have received for books about things like the below and “the government is suppressing my research on Bigfoot’s genitalia” (which I got at Mysterious Galaxy like 12 yrs ago, didn’t save the letter and that’s on me.)
You know it’s going to be a great bookselling day when you get the worlds longest email starting with “you are being contacted due to your interest in and involvement with exoplanetary science and/or military affairs”

Seeing a lot of very serious, very scolding posts saying things like “you’re giving AI what it wants, which is pictures of you in 2016!!!” And it’s like, ok. Maybe! Maybe. But probably those pictures already exist online ……… so……… also maybe don’t use IG to try and get the moral high ground here

Looking at photos from 2016 just made me think ‘maybe I should cut all my hair off to “look like Jean Seberg” and start getting my nails done again’ which is a cycle I go through every other month anyway
