For, uh, no particular reason--but also with this post in mind--I found myself revisiting something I wrote on the Other Place in 2022 about Art Spiegelman's "Maus" and a TN school board's decision to remove it from the curriculum. I think it still holds up, so I'm going to repost it here: 1/

I think it’s fair to say that the Right has moved from Holocaust denialism to an embrace of a particular Holocaust myth narrated as white genocide, which would explain at least in part, its mobilization against covid protections & in support of Xtian Zionism
