We’re at a turning point for public education.

The Fed gov has promised to full funding with $4.8B for public education over the next decade. The Greens want full funding sooner.

As Opposition Leader, Peter Dutton has never once supported the full funding of public schools.

Welfare for the wealthy -
Costs to the budget:
$55.5 billion in superannuation
$51.5 bill tax exemptions on family home
$67 bill family trusts
$26.5 bill in rental deductions as part of negative gearing
Where’s the reform agenda??
www.watoday.com.au/politics/fed...
Never mind negative gearing. Australians pushed $67b through this tax vehicle
The record amount has flowed through a growing number of trusts to help Australians, mostly high-income earners, reduce their tax bills.

Personally, I hope the Help to Buy passes, but if it doesnt its due to Labor’s arrogance.
The Greens have shifted their demands significantly. Labor doesn’t have a majority and they need to be open to negotiation.
