A video from inside a Border Patrol vehicle shows agents chasing a US citizen for filming them. The citizen refused to get out when they illegally ordered him to stop. The agents say: "This is great." "This is fun." "He's going to get shot."

Border Patrol has a surveillance program tracking millions of drivers by name and then gets them pulled over for lies. Listen to the officer admit that he is careful to conceal the reason for the stop so if it ever gets questioned, no one will know that there was NO PROBABLE CAUSE.

11 years ago, Tamir Rice—just 12 years old—was fatally shot by police while playing in a Cleveland park. It was a national tragedy.

We’ll honor Tamir’s memory by fighting to end gun violence and the systemic racism that cut his life short.

This is achingly beautiful and almost too painful to read in places (but you still should). The cruelty of cancer, the longing to be with your children — and the twist of fate, being RFK Jr’s cousin as he unwinds U.S. health research.

There have been some 300 deaths since this ceasefire. I think we might stop with the fiction.

Testing a cease fire? WTH? There's no cease fire if the firing hasn't ceased. This isn't hard.

Airstrikes don’t “test” a ceasefire. They break a ceasefire. Language isn’t that hard, media. Neither is professionalism and bravery.

Nursing has been excluded as a “professional degree” by the Trump administration as the Department of Education prepares to make massive cuts to providing students loans. Also excluded are NP’s, PA’s, PT’s. This comes when there as an extreme nursing shortage and $20K sign on bonuses for nurses. 😡

Folks, this is VERY important. This means that there will be a decrease of nurses in the field and their access to student loans will be severely restricted. There is already a serious shortage of nurses, this is only going to make it worse. Nurses are the backbone of healthcare.

Because they're freaking crazy and mindless. Unreal.
Still can’t get over Republicans acting like Mamdani’s win would lead to 9/11 2 and just weeks later, from the Oval Office, Trump’s just like “yeah it’s gonna be fine.”
Q: would you feel comfortable living in NYC under a Mamdani administration ?

TRUMP: I would. I really would.

well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.

9/ One tool could help: vaccines. After researchers in France discovered bird flu was traveling on dust and aerosols, they turned to vaccinating the country’s ducks. The results: A near-total reduction in cases. But USDA hasn't authorized their use in poultry here in the U.S.

And it's a story that illuminates the ways the U.S. is failing to control what could become the next pandemic. 🧵
