Very exciting to see a sign at a medical clinic I’ve never been to before, that says ‘we kindly encourage masks as we see vulnerable patients in this clinic’ ☺️

Not very excited to see not a single mask in sight, even the staff 🫠

SA Today is doing their federal election survey. Would be cool to have some public health/support for long covid comments make it into any possible coverage they do on the results—reaching our regional/rural communities ☺️

far out dude
What’s interesting is that they intentionally changed it to this headline using “covid alarmists” after the article had already been published. Here’s a side by side comparison (credit to @catinthehat.bsky.social), with the original headline on the left (still shows up on a Google search too).

an overwhelming amount of invasive agapanthus to remove. i have just realised i can remove it bit by bit instead of putting it off because there’s so much. this is my accountability post. by the end of today, this will be dirt.

‘My Body My Choice’ 😃
*News

I was due to appear on SBS Insight tonight in a show about ‘My Body My Choice’, with a disability counterpoint against lawyers representing anti vaxxers.

At the last minute, I was uninvited due to their strict ‘no mask policy’. Said the executive producer.

I will be lodging a DDA complaint.

‘What should be very clear from this Long COVID primer is that Long COVID is an everyone problem because everyone has blood vessels, a gut microbiome,ACE-2 receptors,T cells and a blood-brain barrier.I wanted to demystify the words so finally they become real, and a part of you.’—a must read, please
Worked hard on this, and I hope it will be a useful resource for many.

This is the time for government workers to “lose paperwork” and slow things down and for doctors to help patients because it isn’t just a moral duty, it’s their oath to do it.

This is a time where companies need to say no to the government too.

The year is 2035. I meet President AOC in the Oval Office. "You've done well," she says. "By telling men to dress gay, you've lowered the population rate by 90%, thereby reducing carbon emissions." She slides me a manilla envelope. I can now afford a home in a walkable neighborhood
