the NBA continues to infantilize their fanbase, who they disrespect because they’re younger than other leagues and often people of color. the league under adam silver thinks the utter vacuousness of NBA all star weekend - and the league as a whole - is what the audience deserves.
The NBA is truly in the midst of an existential crisis. It's conditioning young fans to care about anything but the on-court product.
