Some film-loving junkie just striving to maintain my sanity in these backwater times

Whoever said that “violence never solved anything” is probably behind some of those problems.
Come to think of it, I’ve watched only three or four Lupin specials on YouTube in the past. And I only own less that amount on Blu-ray. Of course, I’d be down for these sets!
And last up, Lupin grabs another announcement...

Lupin the 3rd: TV Specials Collection 1!

The 1st 5 Lupin TV specials from 1989-1993 are collected in HD. All 5 are subbed, 1 & 5 are dubbed.

Plus 3 commentaries, liner notes, galleries, commercials, & more!

Most of the mystery previews I have gone to in the past have been some variation of forgettable at best. However, I guess you can’t forget a movie where a rabies-infested chimpanzee gives everyone a hard time. #AMCScreenUnseen

Revisiting GREENLAND before I catch the sequel this Friday. I I kinda forgot how bleak it is, but my sentimental feelings for it remain the same.

I may not celebrate Chrimbus, but these are all the discs I accumulated in-between my Quebec and Denver trips.

Over the past few weeks, I have been on two weekend trips out of the state. Now that I’m back again, I now get to have the one thing I wanted most for Hanukkah: a much-needed return to normalcy.

Today is Black Friday and I preordered deluxe Blu-rays of both WESTWORLD and TROLL 2. I guess I really do contain multitudes.

Dear @vinsyn.bsky.social, please give me a variant slipcover for BLOOD HARVEST this weekend. My brother introduced me to that film during the Rona lockdown, so it holds sentimental value for me.

I still can’t believe this is the last normal week I’ll have for a while and not just because of the holidays. Good thing I have already taken precautions to help keep me sane in the meantime.

I just remembered an old saying: “See a penny, pick it up; all day long, you’ll have good luck.” In today’s economy, what does that even mean anymore?

Nothing like daylight savings to remind me that I’m too lazy to adjust the clocks in my kitchen.

I’ve spent almost half the day riding a wave of emotions and certain decisions were made in the heat. All things considered, I’m glad I stayed my ground. #criterioncloset

It just hit me that between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, I’m really not going to have a normal week for at least a while. This is why I plan things for myself.

I secured my ticket for WICKED 2 this morning in a bit of a panicked stupor. I guess it’s just me, but if I don’t see it asap, who knows when.
