It finally happened: one of my infusion center nurses changed her mind on congestion pricing. Her family said she must be happy about the Trump admin trying to kill it, but she said actually, she may have changed her mind, since it now only takes 25 mins to get to work compared to an hour previously

I found the most dangerous thing in the East Bronx, and it’s got more than 2 wheels 🚙 but look 👀 I found a nice stand up scooter also!

OpenCycleMap or CyclOSM are the most accurate and legible bicycle route maps (because people like me have poured thousands of hours into updating OpenStreetMap).

IMO the State’s map is probably best improved through government GIS staff sharing up-to-date data w MnDOT via MN Bikeways Data Standard.

Bus appreciation post. I just left the Q60 towards Jamaica and witnessed a clash of language, mobility and transportation between 63 Drive and 68 Rd. I hope you enjoy my recollection of what is otherwise a normal day on the bus in Queens!

Just another Sunday filled with honking and poor urban planning choices on Austin Street. Do people realize the harm this is doing? #queens

Weird that RFK Jr, a prominent vaccine skeptic will have a higher role than Dr. Mehmet Oz, a cardio thoracic surgeon. Say what you will about Dr. Oz but he at least has received medical training whereas RFK hasn't.

Also CMS is where my paycheck comes from so yes I am nervous about what this means.

Sharing a photo from the Forest Hills Green Team Daffodil Planting event on Metropolitan. On Sunday we picked up trash with AM Andrew Hevesi's office and then planted some bulbs with FHGT and Rachel from Aigner's Chocolate & Metro Village Merchant Association.

Today was a great example of civic engagement. Joined AM Hevesi and Senator Addabbo on Metropolitan Avenue (via 🚲) to improve the streetscape followed by daffodil bulb plantings. Then 🚲'd over to Cobblestone's Biergarten with Central Queens Independent Democrats to talk about the election.

Looking ahead to the NYS legislative session in January, what bills are safe streets & bicycle groups pushing? For me, the following are top of mind: Universal Daylighting, Stop-as-yield, Safe Passage, E-bike rebate.

Just want to live in a society where its not considered weird or alternative to want to bike to work or other social gathering. Bicycle riders get scrutinized for running red lights but where is the equal if not greater outrage when it is done almost like clockwork by car drivers?
