Gov Newsom just signed AB 715. This puts AIPAC in charge of investigating "antisemitism" in K-12 schools. 1st graders can be punished if they say in class that Israel is committing genocide. Vote NO on Prop 50, make Newsom lose. Then he won't be our president. #Politics #California #fascism #2028

#APSA2025 in Vancouver was a fine event but we need to rethink organizing political science conferences in Canada. It puts additional barriers for non-U.S. citizens and perpetuates inequalities in the field. No wonder many international students on F1 visas could not attend.

This was Biden's big failure. We did our part, the voters, we gave the Dems four full years to close the door on autocracy, they naively thought they could do it by demonstrating how nice it was to have a democracy. Imagine FDR with a similar response to the attack on Pearl Harbor.
