Analysis of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 data led by @publichealthscot.bsky.social show that pregnant women who received #RSV vaccine had a ~80% ⬇️ risk of RSV-associated hospitalisation in infants <=3 months, compared to unvaccinated mothers. 🤰🦠🏥💉

2) UK adults with acute HCV

We found overestimation of neutralising abs using retrovirus-based pseudotyped assays in persons receiving integrase inhibitors, e.g. dolutegravir.

Spoke to BBC on the myriad of reasons why uptake of vaccines in adults and children are lower in ethnic minority groups.

Understanding this is critical for public health agencies to develop targeted strategies to enhance uptake. 💉🦠
