I’m honestly still in shock by his performance. So much home in it. So many touch points. Down to the dominoes and the cane, and the ice cones, & all of it really. I think I’m actually speechless. I gotta watch it a few more times. Fabulous job, Benito!

It's week 3 of classes, & our MA /doc students are rising to the occasion. I'm pleased with how they are engaging in my courses & their willingness to put in the effort. It's been another week of enriching classroom experiences for both me & them. I hope I didn't jinx myself by saying this out loud.

As someone with family remaining in South America, (Guyana & Suriname) this situation is hitting me very complex. There’s so many normals & not-normals when you’re from outside of the U.S. & it doesn’t always make sense what countrymen want vs non countrymen want.

Whereas we seriously considered going home for Xmas break, it was a phenomenal choice to stay home and make our own holiday traditions. What fun we’ve been having.
