Dems already did this on immigration and got painted as open border communist globalists anyway. This simply does not work. Dems need to have a back bone and actually argue from their differences with conservatives rather than bending over and adopting conservative lite positions because of polls.
growing chorus of “throw trans people to the wolves” from high profile libs is not shocking but it is certainly nerve-wracking lol
