I am not Dr Jen Gunter. I am just adjacent to her, so imagine me next to Jen in this picture. I am American sugar to her Canadian spice. Retired tech executive, and now a magician.
This just in. Kid Rock now has a permanent residency at the Trump-Kennedy Center as more dates continue to open up!
Issa Rae has canceled her sold out performance at the Kennedy Center. Pulitzer Prize winner Rhiannon Giddens, Peter Wolf, Low Cut Connie, and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C., have also canceled. Lin-Manuel Miranda has canceled the entire Kennedy Center run of Hamilton.

“This does not seem to concern Mr. Trump, whose hunger for public displays of adoration is well known. “

You mean to say:

“… whose childish desperation for public displays of adoration is well known. “

It’s more likely that GlobalTV met the obligation to their viewers and uploaded the only copy of 60 minutes they had. CBS most likely never thought to send Global the updated version.

If it turns out to be a CBS fuck up, will the Atlantic apologize?
The Atlantic suggesting, without evidence, that Canada's Global TV broadcasting the '60 Minutes' segment on CECOT that CBS distributed to it may have been an act of "treachery."

I had stopped watching F1 because it was so mediocre. But @theringer.com.web.brid.gy had a Rewatchables podcast which I listened to and thought, Apple likely paid for these guys to do a podcast, which normally only covers 10+ year old movies. So I finished watching. Now I’m sure Apple paid them.

So Summers is found to have been getting tips from Epstein on how to hit on a student and that is not met with an immediate dismissal. However, students record and publicize what Summers said in a class, and that is under investigation for expulsion

Even Warren Buffet has said that he was lucky that his skills were matched up to the right country and the right time period.
Michael C. Rockefeller got shipwrecked in 1963, washed up on an island, and was promptly eaten by cannibals.

Republican Women Suddenly Realize They’re Surrounded by Misogynists www.nytimes.com/2025/12/09/o...

@michellegoldberg.bsky.social The GOP has always been misogynistic as a forced birth policy has been core to their platform for decades. This isn’t a resurgence, it’s been a badge of honor for years

There would be a point to Congress if we had serious people instead of clowns more interested in performative arguments about who can use a bathroom than making sure millions of Americans have health insurance

@nytimes Ummm. No. Trumps immigration policy wasn’t a result of anything Biden did. Trump’s policy is simply the policy of a racist xenophobe.

In spite of apparently a lack of targeted ads, GenX is still spending. So clearly the advertising that is happening is working. Or, perhaps this proves retailers are overspending on Gen X and boomers?

Harvard is launching an “investigation”. I mean, you don’t need an investigation beyond reading the damn email which he is not denying. He was seeking advice on how to get a student to have sex with him. I mean, how hard is this?

Then again, Harvard is institutionally ethically-challenged

Stop calling.

No, this does not demonstrate the independence of the DOJ. It demonstrates a thin veneer at best.

If we see an actual investigation by a competent prosecutor, that will demonstrate independence.
