I was missing at least one Agatha Christie Poirot novel from my collection and bought a new version of it and it’s not a mass market paperback and I am weirdly sorta disappointed about it.
I LIKE my mass market paperbacks. Could fit ‘em in my back pocket. I suppose jeans were more forgiving then.

One thing I like about Hastings in Agatha Christie’s books is how dense Hastings is. Like sooooo dense.

That Thing You Do! is a perfect movie. It does everything it sets out to do. I always forget how hard Tom Everett Scott goes at the drums. Of course he uses traditional grip!

So while David Suchet deserves all the Poirot praise, I gotta shout out the Fraser portrayal of Hastings and the Jackson portrayal of Japp. And Moran as Miss Lemon? The best.
