Anti-women, anti-SNP, anti-Scotland. Praise for Scottish Govt’s Environment Secretary Gillian Martin - ignored by the ‘boys private club’ who run media & politics in London. Of course.
Well done. Was this all over the news?, never saw it once.

Even when Scotland is praised on the world stage the SNP gets no credit

Financial agencies applaud Scotland’s economy, but all we get is sneering. Govts need held to account but credit where credit is due

It shows how meaningless the quality of our debate has become

Even when Scotland gets a global thumbs-up financially the SNP get zero credit
In Scotland, any news – even good news – is subjected to partisan point-scoring. It means we repeatedly fail to have the debates we really need,…

Lots of evidence that BBC Scotland reporting of Nicola Sturgeon when First Minister, was not impartial. Not only was it anti-SNP Scottish Govt & anti-Scotland, it was also classist & misogynistic. A smart working class woman who ran evidence-based effective govt was attacked relentlessly by BBCScot.

Blair moved the maritime border without consultation in 1999.

Labour suppressed the McCrone report.

Now Labour wants to build untried untested nuclear power stations in Scotland to power cities in England.

The only thing in their way is the Scottish Government’s devolved planning powers.

If the two-child limit to Universal Credit is abolished, the Scottish Government will save £155 million next year. In our second budget preview, we discuss how these savings could be spent on further measures to tackle child poverty:

Hey so “underage girls” are…children. The word you’re looking for is children. They’re not like, women-in-waiting or women-lite or whatever. They’re children. I think some of you are very uncomfortable with what that means for you but it is still true.

7. You can see this pressure working simultaneously in the same government’s astonishingly draconian anti-protest laws: piling yet more measures on top of the extreme punitive regime introduced by the Tories. Want to free up some prison places? Then stop banging up peaceful protesters.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed
