Trumps comments about China banning hockey in Canada and taking away the Stanley cup were so bizarre and mocked my so many people, that eventually 4 days after he made them, he suddenly claimed it was a joke. His retreat is always “I was joking”. Trump is insane.

Beyond the hockey madness, you will not be surprised to learn that Trump is lying about the terms of the deal and is once again showing the US can no longer be trusted to keep its side of an agreement.
Trump, in the middle of his latest unhinged Truth Social screed, claims that if Canada makes a trade deal with China, "the first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup."
