…to jumping right in with this one! Loved the exploration, survival, combat, music, truly the whole package. I’ll have to see how E33 sticks the landing, but KCD2 is currently my GOTY. Warhorse deserves all the praise they’ve gotten for this one! What an achievement.

My first Hazelight game, and it was absolutely terrific. Alex and I had such a blast playing together - and Hazelight cooked the whole game, but the entire final sequence was genuinely mind-blowing. An easy GOTY candidate for me - can’t wait for what’s next!

I don’t have TOO much experience with management sims, but this game was super cute and had me hooked! My school was ugly as hell though 😭 A couple negligible bothers, but absolutely a downtime game I’ll return to so I can try other maps and victory conditions!

A little late, but REALLY liked that State of Play! Preordered FF Tactics, will probably try the Nioh 3 demo, and looking forward to seeing more with several others!

A couple weeks ago, I passed my comprehensive exams for my PhD!! This means all I have left is my dissertation and I’m done. Should be about a year left. Excited to catch up on a lot of gaming this summer - gonna finish KCD2 first. Then probably Expedition 33. If I don’t let Civ 6 get to me first 😂

Watching Hunter x Hunter for the first time with Alex! Been having a really good time with it from the jump, but feel like it’s REALLY gotten great during the Yorknew City arc! Last couple episodes had me open-mouthed — and I know a lot of people say it only gets better. Can’t wait for more!
A childhood favorite, and one of the very first games I ever played! Excited to jump back into it after 20+ years!

I saw a few people mixed in this Direct but it really was one for lovers of the niche. And honestly, as a send-off for the Switch? That’s kinda perfect. It flourished by being different and giving an audience to those oddities.

Happy 10th to one of my favorite games! Usually with these games, I need breaks between runs; not so here. Nothing could pull me away until I got the platinum. An all-timer! Would instantly jump back in for a remaster or sequel/successor, no question.
