#11: Kingdom Come Deliverance II

The first game was one of my biggest gaming surprises when I played it a couple years ago. This is that formula perfected and so much more. So glad I played the first game and had a prior attachment to the characters, but it’s not essential…

#10: Split Fiction

My first Hazelight game, and it was absolutely terrific. Alex and I had such a blast playing together - and Hazelight cooked the whole game, but the entire final sequence was genuinely mind-blowing. An easy GOTY candidate for me - can’t wait for what’s next!

#9: Let’s School

I don’t have TOO much experience with management sims, but this game was super cute and had me hooked! My school was ugly as hell though 😭 A couple negligible bothers, but absolutely a downtime game I’ll return to so I can try other maps and victory conditions!

Happy 10th to one of my favorite games! Usually with these games, I need breaks between runs; not so here. Nothing could pull me away until I got the platinum. An all-timer! Would instantly jump back in for a remaster or sequel/successor, no question.

Crazy time in school right now, but I’m making some good summer plans 😎

#8: Yugioh - The Sacred Cards

I imagine most people have that one game that really isn’t “good” but they still love it. That’s this game for me! Childhood fav. Probably have finished it over 20 times in my life - this is the main reason I got the Early Days collection, and I have no regrets!

#6: The Order 1886

Definitely enjoyed this one on a narrative / world building level! Would love a sequel someday (I know it’s unlikely) to continue with the lingering plot threads. On a gameplay level, it was “fine.” Got the job done. Think I’ll definitely go back at some point for a second run.

#5: Thank Goodness You’re Here!

An absolute delight. Very short with super simple gameplay, but the time I spent with this was a blast all the same. I’m much less emotive when I’m doing things alone, but I still laughed out loud often here. Weird, wonderful little game.

#4: TimeSplitters

Really rough. Felt like I was wrestling with the aim mechanic most of the game. Beat it in a couple hours, and I think this is a one-and-done. Cool as a proof of concept for the later entries; might be more fun if treated purely as a speed run challenge. Still glad I played.
