I wish the Jewish communities everywhere well, may they prosper and be safe and happy. However, I take the liberty of wishing the same thing for the Muslim communities around the globe including Palestine. My deepest respect for Jews and Muslims who speak out against violence and crimes.

Chief Justice Roberts notes (correctly) that IEEPA had "never been used to justify tariffs," following up with a question of the major questions doctrine.

"It does seem like that's major authority and the basis for the claim, seems to be a misfit."

My thoughts and prayers for everyone affected by this tragedy. These are very difficult times for aviation in the United States.

I was never a big supporter of jobless growth actually. Been clear to me since my teens that ultimately the profitability aim of companies would tend towards having no paid employees at all.

i wouldn't be a total glenn youngkin hater if i didn't mention that the results tonight mean that his total tenure amounted to presiding over the destruction — at least for the next few years — of the virginia republican party. lmao.

Funny how when people talk about ‘reforming’ the ECHR, they always mean removing rights from people they don’t like.

You are probably better off reading spy novels by female writers. I have yet to come across a haggard old wrinkly alcoholic intelligence asset who had sex with all the drop dead handsome young men.

Yes indeed someone should remind Trump that what happens is 100% down to him, not to the Democrats. No getting away from accountability. The mess is all his.
Quite evidently. But for now they're operating in tandem.

Took me five decades to think of this one..
Tip of the day - all those tins and cans you've got in the pantry for later? Why not use a permanent marker and write the expiry year and month on each tin in a prominent place?

Much quicker then to help pick stuff out in the right order. Little fiddly dates hiding in weird places otherwise.

I enjoyed the Observer this morning @drjennings.bsky.social

In my considered view politicians and public bodies should not be on Twitter is for the same reason that a candidate should not attend a townhall meeting where he was put on a lower chair and very loud music played whenever he spoke.
