And quite right too. We are not going to bend to Trump. At the end of the day, the programme was accurate.

What rubbish in The Times today re the BBC. As ever, doing down the BBC, complaining about the licence fee and not a word in its editorial about Trump's bullying. At the end of the day, Panorama was still right and the BBC should see this as an opportunity to assert its excellence.

We must stand firm and sue Trump for libel. We must not budget one inch. Panorama was accurate.

The BBC isn't perfect, but it belongs to Britain not Trump.

Political leaders across the UK must unite in defending its independence from the White House.

It is ironic that the shabby, timid BBC, which has allowed standards to slip, writing reports with bad English and demonstrating an extraordinary obsession with Reform has finally brought itself down. In doing so, it has given legitimacy to Trump, which is a disgrace.
November 10, 2025 at 7:04 AM
It was pressure from the USA that instigated change. That is despite the fact Trump is as guilty as sin.

The love of Farage, the extraordinary bias which excludes other political parties, is not mentioned. It needs a root and branch review. That said, sack Chris Mason now.
A big win for people more outraged by a silly edit at the BBC than by a man impeached by Congress for literally inciting an insurrection being back in the White House. Pathetic.

What's wrong with this woman?

The BBC is a national disgrace when it comes to news. It's gone from 'world-class' to 'lightweight, parochial, garbage' with scruffy reporters who are obsessed with Farage.

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.
