SEND HELP is Sam Raimi's best movie in years. Suspenseful, gory, darkly funny and with a solid moral center, it's a funhouse combination of CAST AWAY, MISERY, and TRIANGLE OF SADNESS. Rachel McAdams is sensational. My review at @moviefone.bsky.social: www.moviefone.com/news/movie-r... #SendHelpMovie
Movie Review: ‘Send Help’
Sam Raimi’s bloody, darkly comic thriller ‘Send Help’ pits Rachel McAdams against her boss, Dylan O’Brien, as they try to survive on a deserted island.

ust to break up the stream of doom and chaos, here's my review at @moviefone.bsky.social of the moving H IS FOR HAWK, based on the memoir by Helen Macdonald, in which a Cambridge lecturer comes to terms with devastating grief by training an "untrainable" Goshawk: www.moviefone.com/news/movie-r...
Movie Review: ‘H Is For Hawk’
Based on a true story, the eloquent ‘H Is For Hawk’ finds a shattered woman dealing with grief through an unexpected relationship with nature itself.

The bottomlessly vile Greg Bovino said on CNN that the agents were the "real victims." What they're really telling us by claiming in advance that the agents' conduct was justified is that anyone who sides with immigrants and/or documents ICE atrocities also risks the penalty of death.
They are telling us in unequivocal terms that if you show solidarity with immigrants who are in the literal crosshairs of Trump/MAGA, you're risking a death sentence.

Our moral compass points to the North Star State. Thank you Minnesota for meeting this moment with bravery, clarity and conviction. You have moved people to unprecedented collective action in the face of a regime of bullies, for billionaires. #ICEOutNowMN

Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson have a tough time livening up the listless ‘Mercy,’ a derivative near-future crime thriller with a muddled message. My review at @moviefone.bsky.social: www.moviefone.com/news/movie-r...

Portland, Oregon: ICE thug physically attacks immigration lawyer Alicia Via Beeslev who was standing between him and her client.

She received a call from her client that ICE was lying about having a warrant for their arrest. She drove to the scene and chased ICE away.

How does the @nytimes.com report on this and not discuss that the thing giving this address is out of its mind? Can you imagine if any other president spoke like this for nearly two hours? Yet the Times reports like it's just another press conference. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/20/u...

This is INSANITY. This madman must be stopped. The military must not follow any orders to attack our allies. Look at the writing -- it's the ramblings of an infantile, diseased, deluded mind. Everything is at stake and it's time the cowards in his own party put a stop to this.

Starting a civil war and a world war while demanding a peace prize is the height of insanity. Thanks to every deplorable fuckwit who voted for this.

The first GREENLAND worked as a tense and surprisingly humane COVID-era time-killer. GREENLAND 2: MIGRATION does it again, maybe without the element of surprise, but still entertaining. My review at @moviefone.bsky.social: www.moviefone.com/news/movie-r...

And why did the ICE thug leave the scene of the crime immediately?
Even accepting the right’s most charitable version of why ICE killed a woman, which is still legally, morally, and factually incomplete, why hasn’t anyone explained why medical care was prevented? And if there’s nothing to hide, why is the FBI blocking MN from investigating?
