Here’s a real example of what an honest, humble servant of the people in WI state for half a century looks like- not carrying on because of ego or power- but care for humans and his family. His replacement needs to rise up with big shoes to fill. Thank you for your service, Tony.
Retiring when his term ends to spend time with his family -- and create space for the next generation of leaders in Wisconsin! -- is worth celebrating. Congrats on an incredible tenure, Gov. Evers! More politicians should take their cues from you.

You can argue the merits of deporting Marcelo—a young man brought here at age 5—if you want to. But this is someone we should be proud to call American. He’s solid on every level. And if you’re really a Christian, you should be lifting him up, not casting him out.
