I had the pleasure of getting to know David when he was launching @p4ad.bsky.social. His vision provided an outlet for our family to get involved in advocacy for affordable insulin, and allowed us to meet many wonderful people on his team and network. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed.

Once again you ghouls, my kid didn't get type 1 diabetes at 3 and my wife didn't get cancer at 39 due to too much food and not enough exercise. Stop blaming people for needing healthcare.

I’m losing it. They know that Gen X is the only demo they have any footing with and so they are going all in on the nostalgia slop for them.

I quit the former Twitter two years ago this week, and I am here to tell you that my online life got a lot better for having left it. In two years I've not been tempted to go back, and I haven't felt any penalty in either career or community for not being there. It's nice to be here and not there.
