We really need to double down on outwardly stating our work does not contain AI.
We're seeing it in movie credits and books, we have to start putting it on things we make and pressuring others to label their work as human made, and normalize that as much as we can, I think.

I'll be okay for now, not in any danger, but if anyone has any leads for a Senior Software Engineering role, I'm all ears.
Would prefer remote, or something in the Twin Cities metro, though if something tantalizing shows up, I'd consider relocating to Boston, Seattle or Cali (Ordered by pref)

New coworker last week was bragging about feeding all of our manuals into an AI notebook, convinced it will reduce the number of inquiries we get.
I warned him that this has been tried before, and the AI straight-up invented products we don't make. Wasn't interested in hearing it. ->

I feel like I've been a coma for the last 2 months.
I started a new medication in early November and while it treated what it needed to treat, and did it REALLY well, the side-effects basically left me a shriveled husk energy-wise.
I finally dropped it today and I feel like a person again.

Ah, what a special time of year
I need you to know that I'm the sort of person who will watch a popular piece of media, think to myself "I could write a better TV show than THIS" and instead of bitching about it online will just actually sit down and write a better TV show for fun.
Screenwriting is arguably the most bittersweet medium I work in.
I love writing, and as a "film person" it's always come extremely naturally to me (and I like to think I'm pretty good at it?)
... but, the "bitter" part is always knowing that very little of it will probably ever get read or made.
