After the regime falls we need to institute nationwide automatic voter registration and mail in voting. Sure, the states run elections, but there should be minimum national standards to ensure every citizen's civic duty to vote is accessible and protected.

Last week, ICE arrested a six-year-old Queens public school student at her family's scheduled check-in. This morning, she was deported along with her mother. One of her siblings remains in detention.

I’m a lawyer who’s worked with unhoused clients; acquiring a govt ID is by far, the most common task/obstacle unhoused clients face, usually at the outset.
