I've seen several independent reports in recent days of a number of hospitals and healthcare clinics adding an intake field requiring you to list your assigned gender at birth. Anyone else experienced this in recent days? Starting to worry this is a coordinated push to require outing in healthcare.

So the Lemkin institue red alert warning for trans people was removed entirely that I'm seeing. No definitive reason why, but I can't help be worried this was under pressure from the administration. And if that's the case, what good are they if the people committing a genocide can tell you 'nope.'

Skirmetti implications loom large. Also, shout out to ACB, who claimed we'd never been a class subject to discrimination on that basis (though she did seem open to that). I know they won't, but how can these actions not be included in deliberations as to our class standing under the 14th amendment.

Somehow, and it is a remarkable testament to our predicament, I think RFK may be the least of our severe concerns for HHS, NiH, etc.

Sat watching the US with horror, fully realising that liberalism is incapable of even slightly slowing the march of fascism - in fact they seem eager to help it speed up.

As one of those submitting a response to this "consultation" I am, quite frankly, outraged that despite 30 of us opposing the puberty blocker ban against only 14 (which included a number of hate-groups) supporting it (in other words a supermajority) @teamlabouruk.bsky.social decided to impose it.
