It's my automatic default setting.

I can easily choose to believe that *I* am the center of the universe, and everything should revolve around *my* priorities.

Or not.

Two former Wells Fargo executives were fined $8.5M by the Biden administration for covering up the bank's infamous fake account scandal.

Trump just slashed those fines to a paltry $150,000 after Wells Fargo gave $1M to his inauguration.

See how this works?

The way that our mail sorting equipment works is via photographing the letters and then applying a bar code to the front and back of the letter. We don't track all of those barcodes because that'd be impossible, but it's how letters get from A to B.

20 ARMED men bust into your home. They claim they’ve got a search warrant.

They make you stand in the rain w/your 3 daughters in their underwear.

They seize your phones, laptops, your cash life savings.

The suspects listed on the warrant? They don’t live there anymore.

Trump is getting killed in the public opinion war over his illegal deportations to El Salvador. Both WaPo and NYT polls find broad opposition to these deportations. And majorities of independents disapprove, a key tell.

Too bad the FBI hasn't heard that Google destroyed the ad-blocker scene to protect its ad business that profits from the same malicious ads.

So he is basically doing what he wanted to do during his first term and suspending the Constitution? Sounds like Congress should start writing Articles of Impeachment like yesterday!
ICE can enter anyone’s home, and abduct and deport them to a foreign prison indefinitely because the DOJ says they can ignore the 4th, 5th and 15th amendments.

If there’s no due process or protections against illegal search and seizures, none of us are safe.

Even if you assume that alien enemies don't have constitutional rights (they do), the owners of the private property do. There is no way anyone can enter a private property without a warrant just because they suspect an alien enemy may be inside. Show a judge your probable cause & get a warrant!
The Trump administration now says they are allowed to enter your home to look for migrants without a warrant.

They claim their actions are unconstrained by the Fourth Amendment.
Justice Department memo claims Alien Enemies Act allows warrantless home searches and no judicial review
The memo says "Alien Enemies" aren't subject "to a judicial review of the removal in any court of the United States."

When voters learn the facts of Trump's misrule, they respond.
Trump's been losing independents, who decide elections, on the economy for weeks.
As Trump's immigration "policy" is revealed to be performative sadism and brazen attacks on the rule of law, he's losing ground on that issue as well.
Remarkable from WaPo poll: Trump sinking fast on immigration among independents.

56% disapprove of handling of issue
62% oppose removing foreign students
52% oppose renditions to El Salvador
Only 21% want Abrego Garcia left there

Engage, Dems.
