Always read contracts you're sent to sign, even if you're told it's "boilerplate".
Understand what you're agreeing to and don't be afraid to ask questions or request adjustments.

100% Every part of the writing process IS writing, including being stuck, being frustrated, being unable to start.
I think every comics creator should internalize the fact that using a.i. for any part of your job not only comprises your work but it also fucks over every other person working with you. It's not worth it. Ever.

Rudy was up all night, barking and growling at shadows in the yard when I needed to be awake by 4am. Slept a total of 1.5 hours.
Drove 1 hour to work only to be told my shift was rescheduled and nobody told me.
Part of me is mad I wasn't notified....but also....
