The Key West lighted bike parade, a mostly locals' event, was probably a third the size compared to previous years. Why? Because all the nonwhite people here are afraid to go out and be deported. This community is being terrorized daily by the regime.

Exactly this. Fest weekend is the best place on earth.
@thefestfl.bsky.social is cool because there's just all this good nice energy concentrated in a few blocks of a college town. Just good vibes and good people listening to good music. The outside world sucks shit but it doesn't suck within these venues.

We went to our 7th FEST (@thefestfl.bsky.social) last weekend. Managed to see Turnstile and @dillingerfour.bsky.social in the same week. I guess there is still some magic in this world, because all of it was incredible.

We (like most everyone else) got the notice about being kicked off Citizens and the private coverage is over $3000 more. Annual insurance between the 3 policies is nearing $20k. Yaaaaay Florida!
