It’s 2026 and one of the first things that has happened is that a major news outlet has announced that it will no longer seek information from experts.
I don’t think this is gonna help with what I think is the most existential threat to our society currently: disinformation.

You can still get your flu shot, Ottawa. It's still early in the flu season and that spike is already bonkers. Even with a "mismatch", my understanding is the available shot still does a good job of keeping you off a ventilator and out of the hospital if you do get infected.
If you thought that was bad, the next update was even worse...
