Love my wife, my kids, and my motorcycle! I'm in business resilience and continuity if you have questions. Also, into gardens and woodworking. Still holding out for a farm.

Finally got one of the monarch butterflies 🦋 to sit long enough for a couple of quick pics. We have at least 2, maybe 3, in the zinnias, or what's left of them. #garden #butterfly #insects

This is sloppy reporting from the NYT. Calling something "money" implies that it can be used as a currency. That's not the case for crypto; it's just a speculative commodity. And saying that stablecoins are have a fixed value is belied by the fact that they have consistently failed to be stable.

“Wilmer called this experience ‘psychological terror.’ Again, we are talking about a US citizen here. So when we say this can happen to any of us, this is what we’re talking about.”
Yesterday, Wilmer Chavarria, a Vermonter & US Citizen, was held and interrogated for hours in the Houston airport by CBP agents.

He's a school superintendent. So don’t try to tell us this is about removing violent criminals. This is how they use psychological terror to intimidate us into silence.

Sorry for the quality (taken on my phone, through a window with a screen), but this chickadee seems to prefer my zinnias over the bird food. He's been here a couple of times. #birds

Ok, so Republicans just introduced a 900 page bill none of them have read. But my team is going through it line by line and on this 🧵you can see the hidden provisions we found. Will update all day.

With the tragic assassination of a Minnesota Democratic leader, I’m going to underline this point again.
I know there's a lot going on, but the Secretary of Homeland Security declaring that federal troops are in California and Los Angeles to "liberate" the state and city from its duly-elected leaders really is a fourteen-alarm fire.
It's mind-blowing how little attention this extraordinary statement has received. It's briefly mentioned in a couple news articles, but this MSNBC opinion piece is the only extended discussion of it I've seen: www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

This is so short-sighted and devastating. My wife was diagnosed in 2009, and we spend literally all year fundraising to find a cure. The progress over the past 20 years has been phenomenal, and to kill funding now destroys that progress. #MSsucks

I meant to include the 🦉 to get this into birder feed.
Saw this killdeer nesting in the median area of a local high school parking lot in Fredericksburg, VA. She was understandably protective of her eggs.
