Avid reader, cat lover, Trump hater. Want to live long enough to piss on his grave.
The GOP is in such a tribal cult that they think Democrats must be too and will circle the wagons around left-wing sexual predators, whereas we would happily see them all fry. It's really telling that he thinks this transparent ploy to make child rape a partisan issue will move Republicans.

The NY Times doesn't do tabloid journalism, except when they do. What absolute, unbelievable trash. Yet Jeffrey Epstein was offering even sleazier stuff on an ACTUAL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE to a Times reporter in 2015, and they said, "Nah, we prefer to talk about the lady's emails, thanks anyway."

These cretins are so hungry for power that there could be actual video of him raping their own children and they would make excuses for him. They would probably feel honored.
CNN: The emails that were released don't raise any Qs for you?

GIMENEZ: Not right now, no

C: The email where Epstein says to Maxwell that Trump spent hours at his house w/someone whose name is redacted who Republicans are saying is Virginia Giuffre?

G: Right. And she said Trump did nothing wrong

Yeah, see, I wouldn't rely on the advice of any of these so-called lawyers. "Just following orders" didn't work at Nuremberg.

When we finally get these monsters out of there, we’re going to have to bring in not just decorators but a hazmat team to fumigate the place, and some grave diggers to get Stephen Miller out of his underground crypt.

instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.

Trump: No

Schumer: Okay

Any Dem senator who votes to reopen the government w/o a commitment to extend ACA subsidies needs to be primaried out. They just won a landslide election in large part because voters blame the GOP for the shutdown and rising costs. And they're going to throw them a lifeline? Political malpractice.

Traditional American politics is premised on the notion that sometimes you lose and sometimes you win and you have to deal with that.

But Trumpism is premised on the notion that any result where you don’t win is illegitimate, unlawful, fraud, criminal.

You can’t negotiate with people like that.
