Another fulfilling week for The Greensmith Lab (+ colleagues from other DNMD groups) hosting their annual Work Experience at UCL QSIoN. The Summer Students were able to get a taste of scientific life, with hands-on experience, learning key skills eg. pipetting, cell culture, immunostaining and more!

New preprint. ATF4 activation is thought to lead to longer lifespans. However, our study shows that suppression rather than activation extends lifespan in the fly. New Qs: how we can target ATF4 or its downstream targets to gain targeted longevity benefits.
