I am honored and, I admit, pleased to have my little short story included in this magazine.
I started writing as a way to stave off the mental decline associated with aging and never expected to be published.

I was going to start a GoFundMe to make it through the winter, but it would be cheaper to buy tickets to the Virgin Isles and put me up in a hotel. However, no one would fund that.

Connecticut is doing it's part, (they better after all my complaints). Contact your representatives and tell them no more funding for DHS and ICE, and to run on an abolish ICE platform.

It's not just the individual memory that has increased in price it's the Solid State hard drives, and the video cards.
Last year this time I priced a new desktop at $1,630. And figured I would wait for a sale. That same configuration, between tariffs and now memory costs is $2,969.00

Ugh! Snow in the driveway. The only benefit to it is it bothers one of my neighbors that I don't shovel/have plowed (an inch of show) and just drive through it. What? It's just going to melt.

Got my first bag of potato chips in months. Cracked it open. The first chip out of the bag was... soggy?
The second chip was almost fungal.
Baffled, I explored the bag and discovered AN ENTIRE POTATO. Unsliced, brined, like a wad of seasoning juice. It had survived, and now was juicing the chips.
