Dear Tomb Raider fan followers! I finally figured out why you're here. I'm sorry to inform you that I am not, in fact, DelcaTheKitten. I've been using this name for more than a decade now, and the avi since before covid. This is all just a coincidence. Sorry, feel free to unfollow or even block.
Here's some fun lore: if you're a Hungarian born in Romania/Slovakia/Ukraine/Serbia/Croatia/Slovenia/Austria, and you live there, you get to vote via mail. If you, however, were born in Hungary, and live anywhere outside of Hungary... off to the embassies you go. Don't read too much into this haha.
30 countries use mail voting

I can't put into words how much you have to insulate yourself from this if you want to keep your sanity if you live here. And forget discussing any of this with friends & family.

I kind of try not to worry about doors closing but when you go for the next door and it closes right as you'd get through, after a few dozen tries "there are still plenty of doors open" becomes meaningless. Which is to say: Come On, Man, I Can't Believe I'm Getting Fucked Like This
lol the Swiss far right is pushing the NIMBY final boss ballot measure with a literal population cap

The thing about Stancil that gets to me is that these days he almost always fights about some manifestation of *courage*. I'm not sure it's good that he represents Democrat courage these days, but it sure is bad that opposing it is this popular. It's the one thing Dems desperately need more of.

It keeps blowing my mind that people keep considering Disco Elysium "the communist game". For one, it can just aswell be called the fascist game (you can become a fascist too), but also, have you not played it*? Have you not understood what it says about communists?

*rhetorical question

Honestly I'm just deeply disappointed by this non-sequitur of a sign. She always fashions herself as someone very rigorous, and now this? 1% starts at roughly $6 million in personal wealth in the US! What does this have to do with billionaires?

That's great. Now, what does that have to do with billionaires? The top 1% for the US by personal wealth starts at around $6 million. Honestly, I'm just disappointed.

"the emperor who gets pissy when he’s ignored is understandable"
Ah, that explains so much, so so much.

Sorry folks but here is a hot take: this was clearly done with a bottle of yellow isotonic drink. No way to put the dot on the i with your shlong. Sorry.

No way man. Lmao. No way.

the fact that early-stage automated vehicles that still occasionally require remote operation assistance are like several orders of magnitude safer than the average American driver should be the real wakeup call here, not the idea that these vehicles still sometimes need remote operation assistance

The thing about the Pontiac Aztek and how "bad" it was is that it's indistinguishable from cars people actually buy these days. It was just way ahead of its time.

Okay well the OpenAI CMO is hopping on now and it is obvious that Anthropic hurt them and they were deeply unprepared

@davidfirth.bsky.social (the goat) managed to do it a decade before LLMs. He's *the* Nightmare Artist. But I really don't know anybody else.

I was very much against SpaceX nationalization, but now Musk made it clear that if the USG wants to send anything to space they must fund this, too, so I'm afraid there's no other choice.
So over on Twitter, they did a "$1 million article contest." This is the guy who won the million dollar prize: (1/2)

Did the internet go away? No. But many, many websites did. Will AI go away? No. But hopefully, companies will have to eventually face reality about what it's good at and what it's not. Does every e-commerce site need an AI assistant? It's just another *voluntarily implemented* cookie popup.

"Is the AI bubble real?" I guess we'll get to find out, but truth is, even if it is, that doesn't mean it isn't a revolutionary technology, or that it will go away. Did the dotcom bubble mean the internet was a scam? It clearly isn't, but it probably was utilized as one by many, back in the day.

Flip side of this is oppression of minorities who came later is also very much a thing (and it's bad), and this theory doesn't really know what to do with that.
February 3, 2026 at 7:36 PM
Either this or just block him. Blocking is fine, too. You have the right to not read some specific guy's posts.
Please let Stancil back into the Signal chats so he can spend his time annoying ICE and not posting.

It is not. They need to fix their hearts because this way everyone is worse off. Including them, but that's not the point.

I've never seen it discussed about Drive (2011) but the driver very much does make a mistake. I guess it's the film's very strong narrative arch & Gosling's "force of nature" performance that makes you not notice it, but he does mess up. Once. And that's what makes the movie.
