it's as good as it looks
Back in the early 2010s, a classmate of mine was visiting London. Smartphones were a thing then already, but he had an old dumbphone. As he walked into a crowd, he suddenly saw his own phone flying towards him.

Anyway, I'm not buying anything fancier than a Samsung Galaxy A-series ever again.

Hard agree. Posting is a skill in more than one way.
also the self-censorship people on here just sound Iike naive children to me

you can in fact viciously and highly effective criticize evil people without giving them needless points of vulnerability to get you back with

One of the perks of getting older was getting very into @redlettermedia.com They proved to me that talkshows aren't actually bad (it's just that 99.9% of them are painfully unfunny). I'm unironically enjoying @noiselund.bsky.social songs remixed from their show now, too. Like this one:

Growing up in a time when “selling out” was the most shameful thing you could do and then being forced to live through the 2020s feels like being kicked in the head by a horse every day

Sharing this because I really love this song. But also, I think it is a great example of good use of AI. The artist had a vision, knew what he could and couldn't do with his limited resources, used AI where necessary, and real dancers where he could.

Must watch. Go see it on the big screen.

I felt weird laughing way more than anyone else in the theater, but I checked just now, and it's listed as a "sci-fi dark comedy," and it absolutely was!

Everything else aside... bringing this up at all is not a good sign.

There are only two real wine movies, Sideways (2004) and The Menu (2022), and let me tell you, the latter blows the former out of the water.

Who exactly are the "Europeans" here? Londonites? Berliners? Because man, most Europeans are not in a similar situation.
Europeans recognize Zohran Mamdani’s supposedly radical policies as ‘normal’ -- Critics of New York City’s mayor-elect have said his pledges of free bus service and universal childcare are unrealistic, but in Europe it’s a given www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Dreamt I was invited to Tom Selleck's house but when I arrived a friend of his was over and he kept on showing him his bespoke mountain bike collection, and I was just there to help put the bikes back on their rack and whatnot.

I always suspected this, but @regularcars.bsky.social just posted a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid review so I could do an actual comparison. The car in their video cost $34755. I put it together in the official configurator, and the same car would cost $55907 here. And that's on a Hungarian salary.

Haha, I get it! It's funny because the C in BACK is stylized as an arrow, but it points from 2 to 3 instead of the other way around, meaning the clock is being turned forward one hour.

I just realized the girlfriend is named "Anya" in this, which might be a coincidence, but also, it means "mother" in Hungarian, and I just can't shake the feeling that that was intentional.
Movie 53/100

Watched: Mother May I
Director: Laurence Vannicelli
Watched On: Shudder

Weird.
