Making people get jobs or go to rehab before they can get help doesn’t fix anything.

If people could jump those hurdles on their own, they already would’ve.

Kindness shouldn’t come with prerequisites.

It costs more to police misery than to prevent it.

The overhaul shifts funds to transitional housing requiring work and addiction treatment. The administration says it promotes "self-sufficiency," but critics warn many will risk losing housing again.

A reminder that in 2022, President Biden signed the “Eliminating Limits to Justice for Child Sex Abuse Victims Act,” eliminating the statute of limitations to file civil action for federal sex offenses. Seems relevant.

Across the country, voters support many of Zohran Mamdani's ideas, including:

-Increasing taxes on the rich
-Universal childcare
-Freezing rent
-Raising the minimum wage

Everything Democrats do must focus on enacting popular policies that help working people.

That is the path forward.

The notoriously litigious Donald Trump has been involved in over 4,000 lawsuits. The touchy litigant has even sued a network for editing an interview of someone else. But he has NEVER sued over allegations that his was a pedophile connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Hmm.

QUESTION: If prices are down and not up because of tariffs — why is Bessent saying they’re going to lower tariffs on coffee, bananas, etc to lower prices? 🤔

ANSWER: Because they are lying. Tariffs are a tax on you, and prices are UP.

There was always something inexplicably strange about the recent government shutdown. From the beginning, it was crystal clear what Democrats wanted: lower health care costs, affordability and for a lawless president to start obeying the law.

But what about the Republicans?

There's a law on the books to make corporations pay taxes on the huge profits they report to shareholders.

The Trump admin has quietly decided not to enforce it.

This de facto corporate tax break will add hundreds of billions to the deficit.

Why is no one talking about this?

First, what the Oversight Committee Dems are releasing now is not the “Epstein Files.” So anyone who says that the discharge petition doesn’t matter, something that Johnson has been saying, is purposefully misleading you.
