This whole so-called “parents rights” movement the right has taken up and the left is supposed to kowtow to for votes is so obviously anti-child it really bothers me to see it presented as anything other than justification for abusive “parenting” and disregard for actual science on child development

ah, when you said “this movie is ludicrous…” etc i think people read that as you talking about Sinners, i know that’s how i read it. i still disagree with your main point, LOTI inspired him to learn more, no one is arguing for it be lauded as a primer on irish heritage/lore

Important to understand that sexual violence is political violence, enacted specifically to enforce class, race, and, yes, gender hierarchies.
