When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.

But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.

A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

It is actually criminal.
PFI is a disaster.

Billions still flow to private profit while NHS hospitals fall apart.

We dug into how this happened — and why it should not happen again.👉 everydoctor.org.uk/talking-poin...

Appalling. AI-generated Nazi songs flood Spotify. It’s hard enough for real human Nazi song writers to make a living.

Blue Labour have continued the Tory ethos while hoodwinking the people they serve into thinking further private investment is the answer. It’s become a point of no return because all these contacts old and new have reparations clauses if cancelled. I suspect they have horrific legal costs too. Sold.
Absolutely this, George. It's the same old argument from people who don't actually know the facts but parrot the words because they heard someone else say them who sounded convincing.

Too many other skellie scalps in the cupboard makes that doubtful and the complicity of mainstream media kowtowing to the orangina. But one can hope because in all of this the victims of this paedo ring get passed over which is awful.
Trump simply has to be impeached before the end of his second term: for the well-being of the American people; for global stability; for the sake of a future habitable planet; and not least to secure justice for the victims of the Epstein circle.

Frankly who really wants to go to USA to be deported for saying something nasty about thin skinned orange Donnie? On a social
Media post? Travel and food, hotel, 7 grand for one ticket - nah a sports tv sub safer and better value without propping up another rights abusing regime? Sorted
$7,000 for a cat. A ticket for the WC final. Over seven times what it cost for a similar ticket at the Euro 2024 final, almost five times what was charged at Qatar 2022. Too much is never enough for Gianni Infantino.
Another price increase for the 2026 World Cup…

Sensing strong demand, FIFA raised the cost of many tickets to record-setting heights — the first large-scale implementation of its “variable pricing” strategy.

Bet you BJ as head of Beeb

Absolutely
I had my disagreements with the BBC under Tim Davie but he was a decent man doing a difficult job.

To see Trump's White House claiming credit for his downfall and attacking the BBC should worry us all.

I can’t believe I hashtag this but #savetheBeepfromTrump
Dominic Cummings, in an earlier incarnation, ran a secretly-funded 'think tank' dedicated to attacking the Beeb while Robbie Gibb glided effortlessly from GBNews to the BBC & started lecturing staff on impartiality. Imagine (cos you'll have to) how the 'left-wing' equivalent would be reported.

It’s ours feck off large Orange one
The BBC isn't perfect, but it belongs to Britain not Trump.

Political leaders across the UK must unite in defending its independence from the White House.

Feck off large Orange
The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.
