Every single Dem that caved and agreed to this deal needs to be primaried and voted out. They are cowards who wasted the last month for a half baked promise vote a month from now.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

Happy Independence Day. No Kings in America.

In 1862, a Union soldier found cigars wrapped in a piece of paper in a field of clover. The paper was a copy of Confederate Gen. Lee's invasion orders. The Southern sloppiness helped the Union stop Lee at Antietam.
It's unknown who lost the orders in the field, or if he was related to Pete Hegseth.

DOGE isn't trying to stop waste - they are just data mining. If they were trying to stop wasteful spending they would look at contractors and other corporations that bill the government.
The Wall Street Journal just found $4.3 billion in Medicaid waste from double billing.

You won't be surprised to learn that 100% of that money went to private insurance companies, not average people trying to swindle anyone.
Taxpayers Spent Billions Covering the Same Medicaid Patients Twice
When recipients signed up in two states at once, insurers often got paid by both. “It definitely is wasteful,” said one former state Medicaid director.

FYI: You are allowed to be a Democrat who also wants a stronger party.

You are allowed to ask leaders like @schumer.senate.gov to step aside so others who understand the moment can lead.

You are allowed to demand more than we are getting right now— and you deserve more too.

So, I guess the Regan Doctrine did not, in fact, put an end to the Cold War. I woke up this morning to learn the Trump Doctrine ended it and it turns out that Russia won.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

Trump just ordered 2 dams opened up in California in an unprecedented move that risks depleting the reservoirs ahead of the dry summer months.

And the kicker? The water from the dams doesn't even flow to Los Angeles.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers just opened up two California dams. A spokesperson says the flows are 'controlled' and being coordinated with local officials.
