Any Melbournian who supports the Jewish claim to Israel because they occupied it 2000 years ago can hardly dispute the rights of traditional owners who lived in the Melbourne region for 50,000 years or more.

Just reposting this which I think is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in my career - a critically endangered orange-bellied parrot feeding on a carpet of daisies after an ecological burn. This was the first time they’d had the chance to feed naturally in 15y and was wonderful to witness

I don't need history to prove me right because I am fully capable of judging right from wrong now, in real time. Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. It is threatening people with ethnic cleansing by forced removal as the BEST case scenario or complete annihilation.
