Funny how all these Brexit types have changed their tunes when faced with the reality of being a non-EU country, and having to go through all the passport checks that non-EU countries do...

The expanded video of that Richard Tice car crash, during Reform UK's launch in Scotland, is somehow even funnier with subtitles.

- "John and Ross."
- "What councils are they from?"
- "John and Ross. Next question?" ~AA

That came very close to having to boycott #Eurovision entirely next year.

However, one point - if Russia is (quite rightly) excluded for a war in which they commit war crimes, all countries doing the same should be.

In Manchester, where buses have been in public control since January, average fares have reduced by 15%, usage is up 4% on the year, punctuality is up on major routes by ~80%, and revenue is 4% over target.

Public control is good start - next stop public ownership!

Is Kilmar Abrego Garcia alive? Because the amount of resistance to addressing his being trafficked gives the distinct impression that either he is dead or what they have done to him is so unspeakable that they cannot afford for him to be freed, seen, or spoken with.

If you're a reporter in a White House press briefing as the spokesperson for the government asserts flatly that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang who's guilty of human trafficking and you sit there silently without shouting out "PROVE IT!" I'd like to invite you to go fuck yourself.

Nigel Farage, "At least Trump is trying for peace, " suggesting that Ukraine should cede Crimea to the Russians

No mention of Russia withdrawing from it's invasion of Ukraine which of course is the easiest and fastest way to end the war

@amnesty calls for an independent investigation into the deaths of 15 medical and rescue workers in Gaza. Israel maintains that six of the 15 were Hamas members, but that wouldn’t be an acceptable defence in court. The deliberate killing of medics and paramedics is a war crime.
