NEW: Judge Dianna Gibson has delivered her ruling on a new congressional map in Utah — and it's a win for Democrats, who now look on course to pick up another House seat in 2026.

Gibson ruled a revised map from the GOP-controlled admin following a previous court defeat was still unfair to Dems.

I was fortunate to see a live performance of this show still available on PBS. I *highly* recommend it ... especially on a day when we celebrate those who served in the military. Suggestion: have tissues on hand. It's all true.

Remembering a cousin whose ship was sunk in the English Channel during WWII.

Remembering PTSD my dad had as a result of Vietnam.

Remembering how Dad's choice to serve affected the whole family.

Reflecting on how Dad's decision to serve had both a + and - affect on me and how I've lived my life.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lance-Corporal Smith was buried in Italy after the battle of Rimini in 1944.
His widow Florence worked extra jobs to afford to visit his grave.
It took her 10 years and even then the 'Illustrated' magazine had to help her out.

From a fascist point of view everybody has an agenda and the "truth" is just what people want it to be, so of course there is "propaganda" everywhere. There is no coincidence that fascists hate journalists so much, good journalists seek truth and an objective truth is fascism's biggest opponent.
The Russian Embassy in London has called the BBC, Britain’s public service broadcaster, a “propaganda and disinformation tool” that was full of “ideological dogma.”

Nothing but the very finest.
A felon whose sentence Trump commuted in the final hours of his first term has been sentenced to 27 months in prison after being accused of a range of criminal conduct — including physical and sexual assault — since Trump freed him.

Jonathan Braun had a long history of violence.

I've been wondering this too. If Johnson calls the house back to vote, then he should swear Grijalva in.

If the shutdown ends, how long until Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva is sworn in?

Sounds like she got her partner in crime's sweetheart deal from his "prison" time years ago.
