On TDOR, we share the names of just a number of the 281 trans people murdered in the past year. Most were Black and Brown trans women. Activists are being targeted too. We come together in grief and care, and keep pushing for a world where trans lives are safe and full of joy. @tgeuorg.bsky.social

Proud to be a friend to two awesome trans parents of trans kids @valouriousknight.bsky.social @thisfoxwrites.bsky.social
Today is Trans Parent Day - a day to celebrate both parents who are trans and parents of trans people. It’s also an opportunity for us to speak about the pride we feel for our loved ones.

We’re a group of parents of trans children and adults who care about their future.

I confirmed this morning that I still don’t like 9 am meetings. Lovely people but my brain was struggling to process.

Myrrh- I have to look it up every year.
I am a (former?) veterinary surgeon and ophthalmology simply has letters in it that surely don’t need to be there.
Hello, I'm a professional author and I can never spell permanently or camouflage on the first try.

Come, make me feel better and share your nemesis words.

Memory eternal 🕯️
'Oh the life of the world is a joy and a treasure,
unfolding in beauty the green-growing tree,
the changing of seasons in mountain and valley
the stars and the bright restless sea....'

Thank you Kathy Galloway.

I treated myself to a new teapot yesterday and I’ve really enjoyed pouring a cup of tea without it dribbling everywhere. #TinyJoys

My spell check has stopped highlighting when I type expereince rather than experience. This is not helpful when writing an academic autoethnographic chapter.

Ice cream van has just been around for the 3rd time this week (my fave treat) and the offspring will be making tea. And I’ve written lots of half decent words today. Rather an abundance of #TinyJoys

Some of my dahlia petals have been munched by snails. I was contemplating trimming them off. Just walked past and seen a bee enjoying a meal from the stamens unbothered by the lack of petals. #TinyJoys
