I've discovered a Commander unwritten etiquette pet peeve. If, for whatever reason, you're having to end a game early and have said 'we'll stop after X person goes,' doing something on your turn that robs that last person of a chance to do anything meaningful/fun is just a dick move.

I'm amused at the moment that the veggie pasta has more protein per serving than the protein pasta.
MtG last night was only three of us. I pulled out the Markov deck and despite being mana poor for about 5 rounds, it ramped quickly after that. I swapped to Sauron next (with a new version of Sauron as my Commander), and that game went longer as two of us tried to keep the zombie deck from ramping.

On other MtG notes, I have some very generous friends. The friend I went to WC with last night and I both started playing in the 90s. This means we have some old, very rare cards. She offered me several 3ED Dual Lands, and I had to push her to try selling them to the store first.

Last night, I went to the Commander Night at one of my local game stores (Win Condition Games). I have some thoughts about it:
- My friend who went with me was the only girl in a room of 50+ ppl. Years of LARP isolated me from a lot of the boys club feel of a lot of geek events.
