If you demand that 3 million federal employees all waste an hour of their time, it wastes well over $100,000,000. If you are worried about waste or abuse, preventing billionaire campaign donors from doing this sort of thing is a good start.

I know we can’t run around on fire every time Trump says something but he appears to have just announced the new US policy on Gaza which is to take ownership of it, ethnically cleanse it of the 1.8 million Palestinians there and maintain a long term ownership stake as it’s “developed.”

A court in Rhode Island issued a temporary restraining order to block Trump’s directive to defund programs he considers to be “woke.”

Calling the Gulf of Mexico the “Gulf of America” just makes it harder for Americans to find it on a map. “That big body of water by Mexico” was easy enough to find.

No, but that’s like the main point of most of the Star Wars movies. “Should we really be building another planet killer after that previous debacle?” “Why do you hate jobs?”
James Bond movies never show the part where the supervillain collects government subsidies to build his death tech.

In a normal world, a normal person might ask, “What is this person’s actual job?” Or, “Should I have at least a splinter of an idea what I am talking about before I go after strangers?” Or just really any curiosity at all about other people. But here we are.
Since he's not a federal official, Musk has much freedom to harass individual civil servants. Generally billionaires have been too busy running companies or at least embarrassed to be down in the mud, but Musk is willing to spend his time and fortune ruining individual workers' lives
This is a very dark turn, calling out low-level government employees by name to add harassment to job loss, all because some anonymous account on twitter complained about them.
