Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

As dangerously cold temperatures move through New York, we have opened 10 warming centers across all five boroughs to provide safe, heated indoor spaces for New Yorkers in need.

Centers will be open through at least Monday evening at the following locations —>

As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today.

ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.

They are consistently proving our worst fears and suspicions. ICE is an irredeemable enterprise.

“ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

At one point today, there were 283 Minnesota attorneys doing a training on how to file emergency habeas petitions to keep our neighbors from being shipped out of state and held indefinitely.

That would be the second largest law firm in the state. And that training was just put together this week.

Just got Verizon service back. Between the outage making using apps impossible, and a malfunctioning keypad, I couldn’t open my building’s front door all afternoon.

Why we don’t mandate physical key access to all buildings? What would we do in the event of both phone service and power being cut???

Today’s Verizon outage has me thinking of this excellent, and sobering, piece on Tonga losing its internet after the 2022 volcanic eruption.

Our systems have become far too reliant on constant connectivity, and badly need more redundancies.
