I grew up within a couple of hundred feet of Highland Creek. From age 3 to 9 I was literally within a stone's throw of the creek. From age 9 I was within a 5 minute walk of the Highland Creek ravine a few miles further down. I knew every inch of it from Kingston Rd to Lake Ontario. It was wild then
