My latest podcast episode is about one of my favorite books, Laughing in the Hills. It's about so many things: the Italian renaissance, Medici humanism, Native American philosophy, grief, work, nature, technology, chaos, order, chance, and also - fishing.

I love how every time someone tries to describe the worst possible outcomes from universal health care they accidentally describe the current outcomes from health insurance for most Americans
For all Universal HC/Single Payer/M4A advocates.

What do the biggest, expensive hospital chains do. Do they opt out and only serve the rich ?

Who in the USA gov runs the program?

R U ok with having to see a primary care doc before you can see a specialist ?

Shocked to hear about Kaleb Horton. So young. He was one of many people I knew only online yet he constantly preached that people should log off and be present in the real world, including meeting their friends face to face. As a tribute to him I’ll make an effort to do that with more of you.
